Territory Manager Inside Sales - Southeast Region

The primary function of this position is to increase lamination sales, market share and Silvercote brand power to a diverse network of metal building, laminated and wide width insulation customers. Maintains a strong understanding of core products and accessories offerings and understands how to present the best solutions. Works in conjunction with the Territory Sales Representatives to provide solutions to customers. Cements relationships with both internal and external customers with the delivery of value and company resources. Also responsible for reading blue prints, processing material take-offs and remaining knowledgeable energy and building codes respective to their assigned salesterritory.
This position is based upon the southeastern region and candidates must live within the region (example locations: Dallas or Houston, Texas; Jackson, MS; Greenville, SC; Atlanta, GA) Candidate must reside in the general region. Silvercote is part of Knauf Insulation. Silvercote is a custom provider of insulation systems for the metal building industry. The inside sales role is a highly technical and customer service focused role.
Enter, maintain and track orders and customer interactions by utilizing proprietary software and CRM and/or other reporting tools
Calculate complex, material take-off estimates for customers and optimizes opportunity to profitably sell insulation solutions to meet customers' needs
Work in conjunction with Territory Sales Manager(s) to achieve annual sales and profitability goals
Act as a single point of contact for customers by partnering with multiple business units (such as fiberglass plant support resources, AR/AP and Territory Sales Representatives)
Field and resolve customer and internal calls about quotes, orders, shipping, invoicing and/or elements of the sales process
Aid in the development and execution of strategic go-to-market pricing strategies
Remain knowledgeable of various energy and building codes, safety regulations and freight costs
Probe for new business opportunities
Develop and maintain internal networks to deliver effective quotes and order turnaround times for customers
Work with 3rd party supplier/freight-carrier resources to ensure maximum profitability on the shipment of orders
Utilize a number of market resources to self-educate on industry trends, changes, challenges and opportunities
Communicate market fluctuations to vendors/suppliers and negotiate order-specific competitive pricing, and apply to established operating profit parameters
Profile potential, new and existing customers about product preferences, sales volumes and purchasing patterns
Limited travel to customer/supplier sites
Participate in formal training on energy and building codes, safety rules and regulations
Responsible for material take-offs/estimating project costs as well as complex blue print reading
Remain up-to-date on technical product and insulation systems knowledge and methods of application
Peer-to-peer mentoring of Inside Sales team
Participate in customer product knowledge training sessions for the purpose of education
Associate's Degree in a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Training in Value-Added Selling, Solution Selling or similar preferred
Minimum five (5) years' sales experience with proven record of performance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Ability to understand the key aspects of selling on value as opposed to price
Ability to work within the dynamic and evolving sales cycle as it relates to the building products industry
Ability to maintain a self-directed approach to the study of new products, literature, promotions and trade publications
Communication and organization skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
