Summary:
Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager within the Operations department, the Quality Control Inspector performs and documents quality control inspections of all types of precast concrete products.
The inspection process includes, but is not limited to evaluating pieces for dimensional accuracy, required tolerances and aesthetic appearance as well in interpreting piece tickets and production drawings.
The quality control technician is also responsible for daily materials and product testing as required.

Work toward all certifications required to perform job as QC.
Completion of following certifications:
ACI level I Field Testing, ACI Strength, PQS.
Complete all required paperwork and verify that records are being properly filled out and maintained and all daily, weekly, and monthly testing is performed.
Help to continue to Cultivate/ Grow relationships with all DOT's.
Work with management on a training program to continuously train plant personnel on proper technique and processes to ensure we are producing a high-quality product.
Ensure all pre-pour and post inspections are done daily.
Ensure all products are stamped and labeled properly before being yarded.
Instruct plant personnel on proper repair procedures.
Weekly yard walkthrough performed on wet cast and pipe yard by QC.
Damaged items must be immediately addressed.
Send cull/production verification reports for each plant daily.
Help ensure all certification stay up to date (Plant, Lab equipment).
Daily strength testing of concrete pipe and cylinders.
Inspection of outgoing loads to verify accuracy.
Other duties or special projects as assigned by management.
